How you can help make a difference
At the heart of our Unsung Legacy Program lies a deeply driven mission: to establish Australia’s first dedicated Wellbeing and Recovery Centre for family carers across the nation.
This facility represents more than a building; it’s a beacon of hope and healing for the REAL unsung heroes who tirelessly support their loved ones. A healing space where carers can recover from the impact of caring.
DID you know that;
- There are over 3 Million registered carers in Australia. Many more are not registered as they do not identify as being carers.
- Their unpaid medical care saves Australia over $106 BILLION (Deloitte 2024) annually in replacement health CARE, yet the personal cost to them is devastating as many Carers suffer in silence — mentally, emotionally, and physically.
The most SHOCKING statistic is that
- ONE IN THREE Carers, will DIE before the person they care for, due to Health breakdown or suicide….
The Carers Wellbeing and Recovery Centre will be;
- A safe healing space carers can attend when facing health crisis, so they can recover from the impact of caring.
- A home to deliver our evidence based early intervention wellbeing programs
- A Training Hub for our volunteers and facilitators to expand our reach
Most importantly SUSTAINABILITY
WE ARE SEEKING VISIONARY PARTNERS

THIS will create employment and training opportunities for carers and
ultimately funding FREE Wellbeing Support.
Family carers are the REAL unsung heroes in our communities, placing the needs of others before their own, sometimes at the expense of their wellbeing and health.
